& agreements
detailed below are policies and agreements that all clients sign and agree to on my booking website prior to their session. please contact me if you have any questions or clarifications!
online booking & cancellation policy
Our online booking policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations made through our booking platform, Noterro. Cancellations within 48 hours of the booking will incur a cancellation fee of $50. No-call/no-shows will incur a fee of the lowest sliding-scale amount of the service booked. An appointment is considered a no-call/no-show after 15 minutes of the appointment start time. Fees will be charged to the card on file.
If you wish to reschedule instead of cancelling, please get in touch with us at least 48 hours in advance; rescheduling is subject to availability.
In special circumstances, such as emergencies, we encourage you to reach out as soon as possible. We will consider requests on a case-by-case basis. If you have any questions or need to process a cancellation, please contact us. Thank you for your understanding as we are a one-person show!
sexual misconduct policy
Mabuhay Bodywork & Massage is a professional place of business. Any sexual remarks, derogatory terms, advances, inappropriate jokes, innuendos, illicit conduct and gestures are met with a zero-tolerance policy and will result in immediate termination of the session. In the event of this, the client will be held liable for the full charge of service (highest payment tier on sliding scale), charged to their card on file, and a note will go in their file making them ineligible to rebook with Mabuhay Bodywork & Massage.
treatment agreement
Client is made aware that certain massage modalities (cupping, gua sha, etc.) may cause or exacerbate injury or pain in certain circumstances, even though this is not the therapist’s intent. By agreeing to treatment, clients acknowledge this risk and agree to not hold the therapist liable.
Client is made aware that their therapist does not know how certain aspects of treatment are feeling within a client’s body. Clients acknowledge that it is their responsibility to let their therapist know id anything feels painful or uncomfortable, or if any adjustments need to be made.
Clients are made aware that they or their therapist may terminate the session at any time, for any reason.
