— In Tagalog, the standardized national language of the Philippines, “mabuhay” can mean many things.

It is used as a greeting, and generally carries various meanings, such as “long live”, “good luck”, “welcome”, and “hurrah”. This turn of phrase is used as my business name in honor of my family and heritage. I have always felt very connected to my Filipino roots and love this phrase that carries so much meaning and love, both through the well-wishing of a long and prosperous life as well as celebration. It is also a nod to my time in the restaurant industry, as “mabuhay” is sometimes used as a toast to mean “cheers”. Life is meant to be celebrated, and I am here to ensure that my clients are able to do so!
