& modalities

I offer a range of modalities, with my primary goal being to support the nervous system and guide my clients out of the “fight or flight” mode that we can so often be stuck in. All modalities are client-led and any input is welcome in order to create the most comfortable and successful session tailored to each individual.

  • My primary practice is in the modality of massage therapy. Treatment includes hands-on manipulation of body tissue to ease stress, reduce muscle tension, and promote a greater sense of well-being. I tend to use a modality called myofascial release (MFR) in my sessions, which is generally a long and slow compressive motion aimed toward fascial release. All therapy sessions are tailored to your unique body and experience, and always with client input.

  • Craniosacral therapy is a gentle massage technique where light touch and long holds are used to ease tension and adhesion in the body’s connective tissue network and enhance the function of the central nervous system. CST can also be used for emotional energy release, trauma work, and deep relaxation.

  • I am certified in breast and chest massage in the state of Washington. Massage of the chest can help support full range of motion, increase circulation, and enhance relaxation. Massage of the muscles of the chest can also help to counter back and shoulder pain as well as help with easier breathing.

I am particularly interested in this modality to work with folks in the LGBTQIA+ community to support them before and after gender-affirming top surgery, as well as to support those post-breast-cancer treatment.

Please contact me with any questions about this particular modality! FAQ page coming soon.

  • Cupping is a form of manual therapy where specialized cups are placed on the skin. These cups use suction to pull on the skin and bring in blood flow, easing stagnation and drawing out toxins.

  • I am certified in intraoral massage in WA state. Intraoral massage is a technique that focuses on muscles inside of the mouth, which tend to be overworked and overlooked. This modality is used to relieve pain and tension from injury, stress, emotional energy, stiff jaw, TMJ dysfunction, and more. I offer intraoral craniosacral work, which is less invasive, gentler, and focused more on emotional release and fascial unwinding; as well as some standard intraoral work with muscle and soft tissue manipulation.
